How to save the Halligens, a European archipelago threatened by the rise of the sea?

In the far north of Germany, ten small islands brave the elements: the Halligen. Several dozen times a year, the North Sea naturally submerges them. And yet humans live here. For centuries, they have built their homes and stables for their livestock on artificial mounds. In this way, the inhabitants of the Halligen resist the worst storms. But a new threat awaits them:sea level rise, caused by climate change.
