Latvians go to the polls this Saturday, October 3, 2026 to renew their Parliament. Fourteen lists, nearly 1,400 candidates for 100 seats: in this neighboring country, defence and security are obviously in the debate, but the consensus to finance it is quite broad. Social issues have dominated since the protests in defence of the Istanbul Convention which protects women's rights.At the end of the election, the distribution of political forces will determine the new government coalition.
